What do you think about norton , avg and avast anti virus? what the product of anti virus is the bes

Norton is good but a resource hog and slows down your computer.

AVG and Avast are good, free anti virus programs, but an AV program is only as good as the user keeping them fully updated.

AVG is the most popular of the free ones and can be downloaded from here http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl...

If you don't have a firewall (which is also a must!), try Zone Alarm from here http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/co...

I will tell you from all the experience that I have had in this industry.

1.) Norton isn't half bad, best commercial one out there

2.) McAfee hasn't impressed me for a while

3.) Best free one is CalmWin (view source)

If you want a free one that is great it's ClamWin, if you want to pay money go with Norton, and if you want to get ripped of (in my own opinion) go with McAfee.

TrendMicro is good too, but they are great for scanning online.

AVG is free, reliable, user-friendly (easy), and VERY good at what it does, even updates itself and scans daily. I use it at home, and my employer has it installed on every computer (2,000 +). Their latest version (7.5) just came out. Go to http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl... read about it, and if you want it, DL it.

Watch Norton.. they may offer you Free trial, then the charges start. Also, I've heard it really jams up your system, and is difficult to control.
Hello Dear

Norton is powerful ati virus but I suggest AVG because doesnt slows copmuer speed .

Good luck
I don't like Norton but I like Panda Internet Security 2007. You have to buy it, but I think it is worth it.
