Which is a better free version, AVG or AVAST??? please answers!!!?

My vote goes to Avast.

Avira's AntiVir is actually rated the best of the three, but it always gave me update problems. AVG's detection rates are weak compared to Avira and Avast, so I use and recommend Avast.

avg will find every virus you can get, but if you want to scan your hard drive tis going to take a long time.

avast may miss some less common stuff, but it runs faster. I would say install both leave avast running and only use avg when you think you have a virus
Im using AVG 7.5.503... its working fine.
Avast can find more and clean more viruses than AVG per my experience. I've tried them all but I'm not using them both right now. I'm currently using NOD32 by www.eset.com They even found a virus not found by Avast and AVG and is lighter on resources. You can evaluate this also for free.
I personally like AVG because it suits my computer, as Avast slowed my machine down more and AVG just gets on with its job in the background and is very simple to use. I have always come back to AVG even though there are ones that may catch more viruses it has never let me down and has always got rid of any virus that occasionally occurs.
