Ok which is best? AVG or Avast? And how are they different..?

I am hoping to get the protection I need for my computer from one source..Not 2 or 3..Is this possible?I need firewall, anti spyware and antivirus ....Is those three enough or What else does a computer need for security? Needing the best , thanks!

I'll let you determine if AVG or Avast! is better, personally I think Avast! offers slightly higher level of protection.

Cons: Too many icons and confusing user interface

No single program can detect and eradicate all spyware. It is best to use multiple programs, I recommend using Ad-aware and Spybot which are among the best (they are free).

Comodo has the best free firewall.

in order to have flawless security you need to have never connected the pc to any network, besides that as long as you don't frequent high risk web sites (ie. porn sites) then you are pretty damn protected no matter what you get, i go about 6-8 months at a time with no anti-virus or spyware and only use my routers firewall. then ill download the 60 day trial of avast and the ad-aware trial, with exception of a few low risk cookies that ad-aware found i always have a clean pc
your never going to get ideal protection from an all in one source....
