i have been getting alot of viruses and they shutdown all these programs

i got a virus last night and it disabled everything.

you cant install, remove, use regedit, taskmanager, control panael, cant right click, move, rename, edit, delete, do anything, it disables the whole computer, it even disabled internet explorer but my other browser still worked and i could download and stuff and execute, when i execute it sometimes say out of memory cause the virus used all the resources up.

just wondering what can do to prevent further do

what do people use

whats the best at this time
